Slater Martin was a talented point guard and pivotal member of five different NBA championship teams during the 1950s. A versatile playmaker at just 5 10 tall he competed in seven straight NBA All-Star Games (53 through 59) and helped both the Minneapolis Lakers and St. Louis Hawks win team titles. He remains the only University of Texas alumni ever inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame (1982). This 1950 1952 1953 1954 Minneapolis Lakers and 1958 St. Louis Hawks 10K Gold World Championship ring was presented to the Hall of Famer at a later date as he was a key member of all five NBA championship teams. A beautifully cut real diamond sits atop a black stone at center surrounded by the words NBA WORLD CHAMPIONS and four more real diamonds. "MINNEAPOLIS 1950 1952 1953 1954 LAKERS is positioned on one side with "ST. LOUIS 1958 HAWKS" on the other. Inside the 9.5 sized ring is stamped "TALISMAN 10K. Its total weight is 20 grams.
