Featured here is a Shea Stadium single seat from the 1964-2008 time period. Shea was home to the New York Mets from the day it opened in 1964 through the Mets move to their new park Citi Field in 2008. The New York Jets of the NFL played at Shea from 1964 through 1983 and the New York Football Giants played there one season in 1975. This one is Seat #1 from an unknown section. It comes mounted on metal brackets so it can stand on its own for display but it is not balanced enough for sitting. The seat comes in beautiful restored condition.
Includes Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum. MLB Authentication # SH 033807.
