The Chargers' All-Pro linebacker Shawne Merriman wore this sparkling road white jersey in the team's 38-14 loss to the New England Patriots on Sept. 16 2007. A big day from Tom Brady produced 279 yards in the air and three touchdowns; Merriman provided one of the San Diego highlights with a pair of sacks of Brady the only two he suffered all day. The white mesh jersey shows moderate game use including dirt and staining on the sleeves collar and neck. Inside the rear collar is a strip tag with 07-48" and an adjacent "S" flag tag and the blue Reebok tag appears at the lower end of the front tail with two small tag flags of "6 inches L.B." and "48"; all elements of the jersey appear to be unaltered and problem-free. The inside tail of this shirt includes a manufacturers tag noting Berlin Wis. Merriman's No. 56 appears on the front back and on both shoulders in light-blue navy blue and yellow tackle twill the same configuration as the Chargers lightning bolts on both sleeves. "Merriman" appears across the back in navy blue on a white nameplate. The sleeves have an elastic spandex hem and each feature the embroidered Reebok logo patch. At the V-neck is the NFL Equipment logo shield patch directly above the embroidered Chargers in embroidered block-letters.
A J.O. Sports hologrammed tag is affixed to the lower inside of the tail attesting to the game use from 9/16/07 game at Foxborough.
Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the Chargers.
