September 27-28 1941 Associated Press 5 x 8 original Type I wire photo featuring Ted Williams kissing his bat. After going 6 for 8 in the ending double header against the Philadelphia Athletics Williams finished the season with a .406 batting mark. A couple of very small creases. Both the dates of September 27 1941 and September 28 1941 stamped on the back. Several pencil notations are also present. Original caption missing.
