PSA AUTHENTIC Full PROOF - NOT VALID FOR ADMISSION Ticket to the World Light Heavyweight Championship Fight between Champion Ike Williams and challenger Jesse Flores held at Yankee Stadium in New York City on September 23 1948. Over shadowing the title bout which Williams won was an exciting fight on the under card between Sugar Ray Robinson and Cuban Kid Gavilan. Gavilan a future world champion hurt Robinson several times during the fight but Robinson was able to control the final rounds with a series of jabs and left hooks giving him a controversial 10 round decision. Ticket is super clean front and back with a small "1587" in either pencil of light black pen on the back. The only ticket ever handled by PSA for this fight.
