On the evening of September 9, 1965, Sandy Koufax walked to the mound at Dodger Stadium and proceeded to author the most dominant game ever pitched — a perfect game in which he struck out 14 Chicago Cubs batters, surrendering not a single baserunner. The Dodgers won 1-0, and Koufax finished the season with a 26-8 record and a 2.04 ERA en route to his third Cy Young Award.

 

Presented here is a Loge Box ticket stub from that historic night — Aisle 151, Box H, Seat 4, priced at $3.50 — printed in orange on card stock. The rain check reverse bears the facsimile signature of Dodgers GM Buzzie Bavasi. Encapsulated and graded PSA VG 3, this stub documents one of the greatest individual performances in baseball history.
