George Mikan's #69 rookie in 1948 Bowman basketball series is undoubtedly the most valuable card in the renowned colored series and remains among the most coveted basketball in the hobby. High-grade examples are rare due to Bowman's manufacturing techniques, and authentic signed versions are exceptionally scarce. This stunning autographed example has been penned in blue ballpoint with a MINT 9 grade from PSA/DNA, making it near the top of all signed copies in the market. The signature in vibrant blue ink is flawlessly positioned on Mikan's Minneapolis Lakers uniform and boasts an impressive overall appearance.

The card itself is very well-centered with fairly clean borders and evenly rounded corners with no visible surface defects or creasing. The "Authentic" card grade may be just the initial submitter's preference as it appears GD to VG in our opinion. As of this writing, there have been 434 unsigned versions graded by PSA. This is one of just ten signed Mikan rookies in the PSA pop report (one of those being the rarer "no red ink" version), and only five duals have a higher card grade than this beauty.
