This beauty is Santonio Holmes' game worn jersey from the Pittsburgh Steelers' November 20 2008 home game vs. Cincinnati Bengals. The Steelers won 27-10 and Holmes contributed with a nice day of 5 receptions for 84 yards. The speedy wide receiver would stamp his name in the NFL history books forever by earning the MVP of Super Bowl XLIII six weeks later. The jersey is also signed on the back with a special Super Bowl inscription.
This black Reebok jersey with yellow gold striped sleeves features Holmes' no. 10 on the front back and shoulders in white tackle twill. Holmes has added his signature and "10" in black marker on the back '1' with the awesome inscription "SB XVIII MVP". On the back '0' Holmes has added "5 rec 84 yds" and "Game used 11-20-2008". The sleeves have Reebok patches and elastic hem. The NFL Equipment logo patch is sewn at the V-neck with Steelers team logo patch just to the left. On the back is 'HOLMES' stitched in yellow gold tackle twill. There is a J.O. Sports tag with "Santonio Holmes Pittsburgh Steelers 11/20/08 vs. Cincinnati Bengals" and hologram sticker on front inside left. Tagging for jersey size and year issued appear to have been ripped out from inside collar. Looks to be a size 42-44.
The jersey shows significant game use as there are the two team repairs on the right sleeve. The white numbers are quite clean aside from slight dirt rubbing on the back '1'.
Comes with an LOA from Santonio Holmes himself as well as an LOA J.O. Sports Inc.
