NBA Hall of Famer Sam Jones not surprisingly found himself earning similar honors from a host of different venues in this case the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame noting Jone's legendary heroics with the Celtics and his North Carolina link from his four-year standout collegiate career at North Carolina Central in the mid-1950's. The Size 12 ring features a large dark blue stone surrounded by faux diamonds and the words "North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame." One side of the 10K gold ring has his last name Jones plus the state seal flower and bird; the other side has engravings of North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame and the induction year 1969. The inside of the band has 10K engraved along with a cursive Sam Jones. Included is a black-felt presentation box; ring and box appear to be in as-issued and problem-free condition.
Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Sam Jones.
