The 1982 Major League Baseball season represented the only campaign in history where the Milwaukee Brewers won an American League pennant. They finished the season with a record of 95-67 one game ahead of the Baltimore Orioles in the AL East Division standings. They then defeated the AL West Division Champion California Angels in an exciting best-of-five American League Championship Series three games to two. This 1982 Brewers American League Championship 10K Gold ring was given to former Brewers third baseman Sal Bando who had retired from baseball the previous season. The ring features a large real diamond at center on a blue stone surrounded by "AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONS". One side has "1982" and the American League logo with "BANDO" "6" and the Brewers glove logo on the other. Inside stamped "Balfour 10K". Ring size 12 1/4.
