The 1974 MLB All-Star Game was held on July 23, 1974, at Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh, PA. Star-studded rosters competed on a warm summer day in Pittsburgh with a final score of 7-2 in favor of the National League team.

These vintage Adidas 'MVP' cleats were worn by Ron Cey during the 1974 All-Star Game. The tongue of the cleats reads "RON CEY, 1974 ALL-STAR," and Cey autographed each toe of the shoes in bold, blue permanent marker, matching the color scheme for the cleats.

Cey recorded one hit with two at-bats, driving in a couple of runs for 2 RBIs. This would be the first of Cey's six consecutive All-Star games throughout his seventeen-year career.

These cleats are derived directly from the Ron Cey collection and are accompanied by two full LOA's for the autographs.
