Ron Cey played in 2,073 games across his illustrious career. Possibly the biggest games played milestone was his 2,000th career game as a member of the Chicago Cubs, which this ball comes from. Cey and the Cubs played a doubleheader against the New York Mets that day, with the Mets emerging victorious in both contests by the same final score of 7-6. This ball is accompanied by an LOA from Cey as part of the Cey Collection in this auction. 

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method. Prior to bidding, please be aware of estimated shipping costs, especially for large or heavy lots.
