There is no shortage of accolades for Football Hall of Fame quarterback Roger Staubach. Twice a Super Bowl Champion and the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl VI. A six-time Pro Bowl selection. Four NFL passing titles. Certainly there was never any question of whether the man they called "Captain Comeback" would one day find his way to Canton. But before achieving any success on the professional level Staubach was the 1963 Heisman Trophy winner. In his three seasons at Navy he completed 292 of 463 passes with 18 touchdowns and 19 interceptions while gaining a school record 4253 yards of total offense. Staubach remains the last player from a military academy to win the Heisman Trophy. This lot features a miniature replica Heisman Trophy that bears Staubachs autograph in gold paint pen. The wooden-based trophy stands 13 wide by 14 high with the player made out of resin and includes a beautifully engraved nameplate that reads: The Heisman Memorial Trophy Presented to Roger Staubach Navy as the Outstanding College Football Player for 1963.
Includes JSA certification (sticker # W824616) for autograph. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
