This lot features two gorgeous pieces of Roger Maris memorabilia. The first item is a signed 4x6-inch news clip index card that features a 7-8/10 fountain pen autograph in between two photos of Maris slugging away at a pitch. The text on top of the news clip reads, "Roger Maris... Looks for a pitch that he can pull." The second item in this lot is a beautiful condition 1961 Roger Maris Batting Secrets Flip Book featuring a full swing by the newly crowned single-season home run record holder. The front has a picture of Maris, while the back has a list of where and when Maris hit each of his record setting home runs.
Maris' autograph has been certified by Beckett (A32033).
