Imagine owning the official New York Yankees Player Questionnaire from the reigning American League Most Valuable Player from 1961 fresh off his historic chase and passing of Babe Ruth's previously untouchable record of 60 home runs in a season. Roger Maris signed 8/10 to 9/10 matching autographs on the bottom of this 9-by-14-inch sheet instantly turning this otherwise routine piece of internal Yankees publicity paperwork into a museum-worthy masterpiece. As in the case of the adjacent questionnaire from his pal Mickey Mantle Roger supplied all the requested background information about date of birth height weight marital and family information etc. and true to his legendary taciturn nature left blank a question about his outstanding baseball experiences. A more boastful type might have at least been tempted to mention that in the previous season he had just broken the most important individual record in all of professional sports. Not Roger. The document is Nr-Mt and problem free and is matted (black) and framed under glass to overall dimensions of 12-by-18 inches.
