Retired pitcher Roger Clemens racked up 354 wins during the course of his 24-year MLB career. The 6 4 right-hander nicknamed Rocket was dominant and overpowering and earned a pair of World Series rings during his six seasons in the Bronx pitching for the New York Yankees. This lot includes four autographed Clemens items starting with a limited edition (#17/22) New York Yankees Authentic Collection Russell Athletic "100th Anniversary" patch home jersey. Clemens signature in blue marker appears on the left front tail and he has added 300 Ws and the date of this 300th win 6-13-03 which was a 5-2 victory over the visiting St. Louis Cardinals. The Rocket also recorded 10 strikeouts in the game including his career 4000th K. Navy blue embroidery appears below his inscription that includes personal milestone statistics such as 6X Cy Young 300 Win Club 4000K Club etc. The second autographed items is a limited-edition (#66/300) 100th Anniversary (1903 2003) Yankees baseball that Clemens has signed and inscribed: 300W/4000K 6-13-03. The third item another baseball has been signed by Clemens on the sweet spot and he added Rocket underneath his signature. The fourth and final autographed piece to this quad puzzle is another autographed baseball which Clemens has again signed in the sweet spot and added CY7 next to his signature signifying his record seventh Cy Young award which he netted in 2-0-04 as a member for the Houston Astros. A terrific collection of Clemens signed memorabilia.
