NFL Hall of Famer defensive back Rod Woodson had a busy campaign during the 1999 season as a member of the Baltimore Ravens. This lot features a trio of game balls that were awarded to Woodson as a result of his outstanding efforts at leading the defense. The first single-white-panel football was from the Nov. 7 clash against the Cleveland Browns in which Woodson returned an interception 66 yards for a touchdown to help the Ravens post a 41-9 victory. The second game ball was given to Woodson for his unyielding efforts in a shutout (22-0) victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Nov. 26. The third football was awarded to Woodson following a 41-14 thrashing of the visiting Tennessee Titans on Dec. 5 which was capped by another interception (47-yard) return for a touchdown by Woodson. Please note that some of the purple decals on the white panels have peeled away over time.
