On Sept. 29 2002 the Oakland Raiders were playing at the top of their game. Battling against the visiting Tennessee Titans the Raiders won 52-25 and set several individual NFL records in the process. Defensive back Rod Woodson made three interceptions on the day and returned one for an 82-yard touchdown. In doing so Woodson became the NFLs all-time leader in interception return yardage with 1339. In addition Oakland teammates Jerry Rice and Tim Brown set offensive records that day with Rice surpassing Walter Payton as the leagues all-time leader in yards from scrimmage (21281) and Brown moving into third place all-time with six more receptions to reach 954 for his career. This is the painted game ball that was awarded to Woodson following that victory. One single silver-painted panel calls out all three milestones.
