This is an extraordinary lot of four pristine Bulova womens watches from the Hall of Fame defensive back Rod Woodson who earned a total of 11 Pro Bowl nods in his extraordinary NFL career a record for a defensive back. He was also the first player to earn trips to the Pro Bowl at cornerback safety and kick returner. He was named 1993's NFL Defensive Player of the Year by the Associated Press a year represented by the 1994 Pro Bowl Bulova watch in this lot. Woodson was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility.
The 1994 and 1995 Pro Bowl lady's watches marked Woodsons fifth and sixth consecutive Pro Bowls. He earned three (1994 '95 and '97) of these four watches as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The final watch in the group from the 2001 Pro Bowl came from his 2000 campaign with the Baltimore Ravens. In each instance this elegant Swiss-made Bulova presentation watch appears to be in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition (Bulova warranty and tagging included) with a gold watch face 1" in diameter picturing a football player and "[1994] Pro Bowl" across the top and "AFC-Hawaii-NFC" on the bottom. Polished silver backplate has Swiss Made; all four watches have the original Bulova Genuine Lizard straps (1/2" wide) fully intact. The 1994 and 2001 watches are housed in attractive 4½ by 3½ inch red jewelry boxes while the other two 1995 and 1997 - come in their original 5 3/8-inch square wood presentation boxes which have inlaid gold pieces at the top precisely mimicking the watch face. All elements are in superb condition.
