Offered here is a 1992 Pro Bowl ('91 season) jersey and pants from perennial All-Pro defensive back Rod Woodson an 11-time Pro Bowler in 17 NFL seasons. His 71 career interceptions is the third-most in NFL history. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2009 on his very first ballot. This AFC white-and-red micro-mesh jersey was worn during the February 2 1992 Pro Bowl at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu Hawaii. The NFC defeated the AFC 21-15. It was Woodson's third consecutive Pro Bowl selection on his way to a run of six straight.
The jersey is a lightweight white micro-mesh with red and blue knit trim on the collar and sleeves. Woodson's No. 26 appears in red white and blue vinyl screening on the front back and both shoulders. "American" appears across the front of the chest above the number screened in red vinyl letters. The colorful Pro Bowl 1992 embroidered patch is affixed to each shoulder. The tail holds a Wilson Prestige label with flag tags identifying Size 46 and "EZ." The jersey shows single-event wear and is essentially as-issued and problem free. The Wilson-tagged Size 34 pants show matching single-event usage with ornate white "A" flanked by white stars on each hip and red white and blue elastic striping down each leg highlighted by a dozen red-screened stars on each. Embroidered white Wilson "W" is sewn on the front left. Belt laces and all other elements appear intact and largely as issued.
