RETURN FOR TD (WOODSON LOA)On November 2 2002 the Oakland Raiders traveled to Denver to battle the Broncos in a Monday Night Football game at Invesco Field. The silver-and-black attack was playing at full throttle that night as they handed the home team a 34-10 defeat. One of the stars of the evening was Oakland cornerback Rod Woodson who intercepted a Brian Greise pass at his own two-yard-line and returned it 98 yards to put the visitors ahead 10-0 with 2:57 remaining in the first quarter. This lot includes a specially emblazoned Wilson game ball from that night with one panel that reads: GAME BALL Presented to Rod Woodson with the final score (Oakland Raiders 34 Denver Broncos 10) location (Invesco Field Denver Colorado) and date of the game (November 11 2002) also indicated in black. Woodson retired after the 2003 season with 71 INTs to his credit which ranks him third overall in NFL history.
