Baseball Hall of Famer Robin Yount played 20 seasons for the Milwaukee Brewers and was a two-time American league MVP at two different positions: shortstop (1982) and center field (1989). A member of MLB's prestigious 3000 Hit Club Yount recorded a total of 3142 hits during the course of his prolific career. He was inducted into the hallowed halls of Cooperstown in 1999 his first year of eligibility.
This lot features one of Yount's game-worn and signed Rawlings long-sleeved undershirts (circa 1980) plus four different pairs of game-worn Milwaukee Brewers-logoed wristbands (three blue pairs and one yellow). The Rawlings cotton undershirt certainly shows wear and includes "YOUNT 19" in black marker across the shoulders. Young has signed the undershirt just below that area also in black marker. Each of the pairs of wristbands reflect varying degrees of use and each wristbands includes Yount's uniform number "19" in blue marker next to the Brewers team logo.
