In 1999 the same year he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame Milwaukee Brewers great Robin Yount was also named to the MLB All Century Team during All-Star Game festivities at Fenway Park the home of the Boston Red Sox. Yount a two-time American League MVP (1982 and ’89) collected an astounding 3142 hits during the course of his illustrious 20-year MLB career. This lot features a pair of items that are connected to Yount’s inclusion onto MLB’s All Century Team. The first is a 14.5” by 14.5” presentation rubber that Yount has signed in black marker and includes the MLB All Century Players logo as well as his name in bold white letters. The second item is a beautifully framed 17” wide by 14” high photo of the MLB All Century Team including the likes of baseball giants such as Henry Aaron Cal Ripken Jr. Bob Feller Warren Spahn Mike Schmidt Tom Seaver Carlton Fisk Rollie Fingers and George Brett.
