For Mickey Mantle fans it's hard to imagine a more tempting piece than a super condition copy of Billy Martin's autobiography signed by Martin and personalized to his great pal and teammate Mantle. The book - which comes with provenance linking it to Mantle's personal collection - presents in essentially NM fashion with a remarkably nice dust cover that reveals only the slightest traces of wear on the edges. On the title page Martin signed in blue ballpoint (9/10) "To Mickey The best always to the best friend and player a man could ever have Your pal always Billy Martin." Comes with notarized letter indicating that the book came originally from Greer Johnson Mantle's agent and companion in his years on the hobby circuit.
