According to Hal Shaw president of the Babe & George Zaharias Golf Foundation Reggie White gifted this bag and full set of clubs to a South Florida pastor in 2002 who later donated them to the foundation. Minster Reggie by that time retired from his Hall of Fame NFL career and preaching Gods word around the nation met Pastor Forrest Pollack at a Christian conference in the Tampa area. Apparently they really hit it off. Upon learning that Pastor Forrest had taken a liking to golf Minister Reggie gave him the complete set as a birthday present. Pastor Forrest was a generous contributor to the Babe & George Zaharias Golf Foundation and donated the bag in 2004. Reggie White died in 2004 at the tender age of 43. His legend on the field and legacy in everyday life will forever live on.
Comes with a letter of provenance from the Babe & George Zaharias Golf Foundation Inc. of Tampa Florida. The foundation was founded by Hal Shaw Zaharias' former caddie who toed the bag for the 10-time Women's Major Champion starting in the late 1940's. Since 2002 the foundation has served individuals with disabilities from Shriner Hospital and Camp Florida.
