10" by 15" Commonwealth of Kentucky certificate presented to Red Auerbach in 1968 by governor Albert "Happy" Chandler commissioning him as a "Kentucky Colonel". Large black ink signature "A.B. Chandler" at bottom. Minor piece of bottom right corner is missing and piece has some wrinkles and light staining. VG-EX.
8" by 10" photo signed from Boston Mayor Ray Flynn "To Red, Thanks for making this day possible".
Two additional certificates signed by local mayors.
Includes letter of provenance from Red Auerbach estate.
