This large (16 by 13) piece of original art was created by Bob Coyne for The Boston Post around the time the Celtics won their first title in 1957. It features a Celtics player looming triumphantly above a heap of athletes representing other Boston Sports teams. A title "At Long Last!" in the upper left corner suggests that the Celtics had finally risen to the top of the Boston sports world. The piece shows no visible condition faults and remains in its original vintage frame. The piece is artist signed in the lower left corner. Includes a letter of provenance from the Auerbach estate.
