A lot of prolific figures from various sports have contributed to the glory and mystique of the Boston Garden but few became synonymous with it. The Garden might have been called "The House That Red Built". When the Boston Garden Hall of Fame was formed in 1988-89 Auerbach was inducted as a charter member. He was presented with this 8x14 plaque which bears an image of him at work in his coaching prime. Beneath the photo is a synopsis of Auerbachs career highlights engraved on a brass plate. Includes a letter of provenance from the Auerbach estate.
