This 8" by 10" photo of Babe Ruth is signed boldly and simply "Good Luck From Babe Ruth 5-17-48". Ruth almost always added a personalized salutation to photos when signing making this a rare and desirable exception. Large black ink signature rates a strong "8-9". On the photo one very light crease crosses his knees with a few very small ones scattered around the edges. Main concern is a 2" by 1" area of water damage in the upper right corner with another smaller area at the right edge. Luckily most of the problem is light and does not stand out as much as if it were darker. Framing of the photo could eliminate a portion of the damage.
