The NBA sent All-Star squads to tour Japan in 1975 and 1976. These Tours included a half-dozen or so contests between East and West squads of touring American professionals at venues that included Tokyo and Osaka representing one of the earlier attempts to extend the global reach of the National Basketball Association. Red Auerbach coached the East squads for both of these tours and certainly must have been pleased to have two of his favorite sons in Tom Heinsohn and Dave Cowens as his teams centerpieces.

Very little memorabilia exists from these important tours with this lot originating from the estate collection of Red Auerbach. This is a complete full unused game ticket from the 1975 NBA Tour of Japan. The oversized (7-3/4 by 3-1/4) ticket features English and Japanese text and outstanding graphics including a picture of Laker great Gail Goodrich. The ticket is preserved in virtually MINT condition and is the only example known to exist.
Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA with notation of origin from the Red Auerbach estate.
