This ever-popular 1959 Topps Football set features all of the period's superstar players as well as attractive "team pennant" cards and a gallery of challenging Checklists. Offered is a generic-style Topps box containing 36 tightly sealed "cello" packs each with its own bounty of 12 cards from the company's 1959 football series. The 7-1/2" x 5-1/4" x 2-1/4" intact display box (EX) has successfully protected its plain clear-wrapper packages each of which is undisturbed and have been assessed as original and unaltered by BBCE the industrys leading authenticator of unopened material. The box has been shrink-wrap sealed by BBCE. Among the likely contents are uncirculated examples of Unitas Brown Starr Layne Huff Berry Hornung Kramer Tittle Parker Gifford Groza Taylor and an untold quantity of team/checklist pieces. Unopened material of this vintage is becoming increasingly scarce and in-demand with an ever widening gap between supply and demand.
