Very interesting free souvenir program to the August 30 1937 World Heavyweight Championship fight between Champion Joe Louis and challenger Tommy Farr held at Yankee Stadium before a crowd of 50000. Louis retained his crown with a controversial narrow 15 round decision. Produced as a promotion for Harlem businesses it is loaded with period ads and business cards for merchants in the Harlem neighborhood. Program itself in pretty nice shape with some creasing.
