On December 26, 1908, Tommy Burns and Jack Johnson squared off for the World Heavyweight Championship at Sydney Stadium in Australia. Johnson emerged victorious at the end of the 14-round fight to claim the championship. Offered here is a rare surviving program from the fight. The program measures 5 1/2 inches by 8 1/8 inches. The program contains 83 pages! The inside shows some very minor spots on a few pages. The book has a tight spine. One of the rarest and most desirable of heavyweight championship programs.
