Randy "Macho Man" Savage held 20 championships during his professional wrestling career and held six world championships between the WWF and WCW having won the WWF Championship twice and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship four times. He also won the ICW World Heavyweight Championship three times and the USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship once. A one-time WWF Intercontinental Champion WWE named Savage as the greatest champion of all time and credited him for bringing "a higher level of credibility to the title through his amazing in-ring performances." He was also the 1987 WWF King of the Ring and the 1995 WCW World War 3 winner. A major pay-per-view attraction in the 1980s and 1990s Savage headlined WrestleMania IV V and VIII as well as four of the first five SummerSlam shows the 1995 edition of WCW's Starrcade and many other events. Hulk Hogan face of the WWF during the professional wrestling "Golden Era" of the 1980s and early 1990s described Savage as being "so influential in this business especially in the WWF."

Of course simply reciting statistics hardly rounds out the story in assessing the larger-than-life figures in pro wrestling. Mixing a raspy voice (think Dick the Bruiser from the 1960's) an outlandish stage presence a penchant for elaborately staged entrances and an exotic not to say preposterous wardrobe he teamed with Hogan to help propel pro wrestling to dizzying heights in the 1980's and 1990's.

These mustard-yellow leather boots approximately Size 11 with stamping inside of "The Squared Circle" show match use but remain in nothing short of spectacular condition. The great wrestler has signed "'Macho Man' Randy Savage" on the outside panel of each boot directly below the two white-leather stars adding an unknown inscription below both autographs.

Like an adjoining lot with boots from Hulk Hogan this is a truly important relic from one of the giants (lower case) of the profession. A photograph shows Savage and Hogan known as the Mega Powers wearing this style of boot (with the stars visible on Savage's boots) at the first-ever main event SummerSlam I at Madison Square Garden in 1988 when the duo squared off against Andre the Giant and Ted DiBiase (aka the Mega Bucks) with the eventual Governor of Minnesota Jesse "The Body" Ventura as the guest referee.

Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from renowned shoe collector Bill Ficke who received these beauties directly from his now deceased friend Zane Bresloff the long-time wrestling promoter.
