This lot features a collection of six single-signed footballs from a half dozen gridiron stars who are enshrined in the hallowed halls of Canton. Two of the footballs are white-panel versions that have been signed by Y.A. Tittle (and inscribed 14 H.O.F. 1971) and by the great Gale Sayers. The Sayers football is a specially stamped version entitled Pro Football Hall of Fame Collectors Edition. The remaining four single-signed Wilson footballs have been signed by John Elway (7); Don Shula (H.O.F.97); George Blanda (Raiders); and Joe Namath. The Elway football is a specially stamped "Super Bowl XXII" version. Tittle and Shulas signatures show some sign of fading although all signatures are legible.
Includes Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
