Prior to 1970 Pro Football’s ultimate prize was known as the World Championship Trophy and inscribed "World Championship Football". Renamed in 1970 the inscription was changed to "Vince Lombardi Trophy" in honor the Green Bay Packers legendary former coach. Presented here is a beautiful 16" tall 2008 Super Bowl XLIII (Arizona Cardinals vs Pittsburgh Steelers) Vince Lombardi Trophy presented to Steelers linebacker Bruce Davis Jr. The Steelers defeated the Cardinals 27-23 on a Ben Roethlisberger to Santonio Holmes pass with just 35 seconds left making them the first team in NFL History to win 6 Super Bowls. "Vince Lombardi Trophy" and "Super Bowl XLIII CHAMPIONS" appear engraved on front with NFL logo attached at center. Below this is engraved "THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS". On the back engraved is "BRUCE DAVIS #53 - LB". In beautiful condition with impressive overall display quality. A real must have for the Pittsburgh Steelers football fan.
