Offered here is a Pete Maravich Converse All-Star Pistol personal model shoe that was made directly for Pistol Pete. He wore this style after his NBA career. Pistol Pete was known to play plenty of pick-up ball well into retirement. It would not have been available for purchase by any consumers. There is no size indicated on the internal tagging; our best guess is size 13. The shoe was made specifically for Pistol Pete and appears to have been worn doing what he loved most, right up until his sudden death at age 40 in 1988. We cannot confirm with certainty that Pete wore this shoe. Sourced from a reputable basketball collector.
