Only 23 pitchers in the history of Major League Baseball have ever pitched a perfect game. No runs no hits no errors no walks 27 up 27 down. It is the greatest single game feat for a pitcher and forever immortalizes that player in the record books. Presented here is a baseball signed by 10 of the 23 players who have etched their name into the record books. All 10 have signed in blue ballpoint and added the date of their accomplishment. Included are: Sandy Koufax ("P.G. 9/9/65") Don Larsen ("PG 10-8-56") Mark Buehrle ("7-23-09") Philip Humber "PG 4-21-12") Mike Witt ("PG 9/30/84") Tom Browning ("PG 9/16/88") David Cone ("P.G. 7/18/99") Len Barker ("P.G. 5/15/81") Jim Bunning ("PG 6/21/64") and Dennis Martinez ("PG 7-28-91"). Of course the only player to have a date in October is Don Larson who pitched his perfect game in game 5 of the 1956 World Series. His signature is signed across the sweet spot in 9/10 boldness. Koufax rates about an 8. Overall the signatures 8-9.
