1947 - Harwood Official League baseball signed by 22 members of the 1947 Pacific Coast League San Fancisco Seals. The Seals won 105 games in 1947 yet finished 2nd to Los Angeles in the standings. Players are: Young Nicely Melton Orteig Budnick Leonard Restelli Sheridan O'Doul(SS) Taormina(SS) Chesnes Vezilich B. Mathewson Brovia Jennings Lien Werle Trower Joyce 3 unidentified(2 super light 1 handwriting). Off white ball with some scuffing and fading to a few signatures. Most are very readable 5-7/10. 1948 - Unidentified baseball signed by 27 members of the 1948 San Francisco Seals. In 1948 the Seals finished 2nd again with 112 victories to Casey Stengel's Oakland Oaks famed "9 old men". Players are: O'Doul(SS) Young Brewer Brovia Dempsey Drilling Gables Guintini Howell Lajeskie Luby Mackiewicz Melton Orteig Perez Restelli Soriano Trower Werle Woodling 7 unidentified due to lightness of signature/handwriting. Evenly soiled ball with 3-5/10 blue ink signatures. "Frisco 1948" in black ink by another hand written on sweet spot.
