Pair of 11" by 8-1/2" and 13" by 10" pieces of original newspaper artwork by renowned Boston Globe artist Phil Bissell, creator of the New England Patriots logo (Pat the Patriot).
Artwork shows a nervous Red anticipating the contest between Elgin Baylor's Lakers and the Celtics. Second piece shows large portrait of Red with "Egg" on his face. Classic Bissell works. Housed in thier original frames appearing EXMT, one frame has couple holes where it was attached to a wall.
Includes letter of provenance from the Red Auerbach estate.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
