The World League of American Football (shortened to WLAF or World League) later renamed NFL Europe and then NFL Europa was a professional American football league which operated between 1991 and 2007. It was backed by the National Football League (NFL). Each season culminated with the World Bowl. This lot includes two beautifully mounted and framed collections celebrating both the 1991 and 92 World Bowls. Both framed items measure 12.5 wide by 22 high and include a single complete unperforated game ticket a game program and a pair of press pins from the two respective contests. The 1991 World Bowl was played on June 9 at Wembley Stadium in London and pitted the London Monarchs against the Barcelona Dragons with the Monarchs prevailing 21-0. The 1992 battle was played on June 6 at Olympic Stadium in Montreal and saw the Sacramento Surge defeat the Orlando Thunder 21-17. These two framed collections represent the first two World Bowls ever played. Also included in this lot is an official Wilson World League Football stamped with the World Bowl 1992 logo.
