Great pairing of mid-high grade 1940's Boston Red Sox team signed OAL (Harridge) baseballs. One has a beautiful Ted Williams on the sweet spot.
1) 1945 team ball has 22 signatures including player/manager Joe Cronin (HOF), Dolph Camilli, Heflin, Vic Johnson, Lake, Hausmann, Culberson, O'Neill, McBride, coach Del Baker, LaForest, Bob Johnson, Fox, Holm, Woods, Newsome (SS), Metkovich (SS), Bucher, Garbark, Ryba, Tobin, etc. Ted Williams was serving in the war that season. Very lightly and evenly toned ball (NM) is very well-preserved to a warm cream color. Autographs are done in blue fountain pen rating 7-8/10 on average. Very nice ball. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
2) 1947 team ball holds 27 signatures highlighted by Hall of Famers Ted Williams (SS) and Bobby Doerr. Others include Dom DiMaggio, Johnny Pesky, Johnny Murphy, Sam Mele, Partee, Jones, Dorish, Ferriss, coaches Del Baker & Paul Schreiber, E. Smith, Dobson, Pellagrini, E. Johnson, Culberson, Moses, Gutteridge, Zuber, Hughson, McGah, Galehouse, Klinger, etc. Slightly more toned ball presents in an even, off-white color. Williams is a clean 7/10 and autos. average 7-8/10 in blue fountain pen. Cronin (SS) and Tebbetts deemed clubhouse. "Boston 1947" notation in unknown hand. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
