Pair of 7" by 9" original wire photos of the great Joe DiMaggio offered here. The first an AP press photo dated Oct. 22 1938 shows Joltin' Joe leaning over a typewriter at his Fish Grotto restaurant in San Francisco. It includes a long wire caption attached to the back. The second is of Joe and his first wife actress Dorothy Arnold enjoying a day at the beach in St. Petersburg FL most likely taken during Spring Training for the Yankees star. The back is stamped by ACME Newspictures and dated 2/18/42. Both photos are complete without holes or tears in EX condition with minor creasing and some wear and aging around the edges.
