The Cardinals honored their star shortstop with this attractive 16-by-12-inch gold plaque that includes an 8-by-10-inch image of Smith turning a double play alongside the engraving on the left side noting that the plaque was presented to Ozzie Smith for "Setting the Major League Record for Double Plays Participated in by a Shortstop" and adding the date September 15 195 Busch Stadium the Cardinals logo and another smaller notation saying that the award was presented on September 16 1995. The main plate is largely problem free and has been mounted to a red felt backing which in turn was attached to a vintage wood wood frame bringing the overall dimensions to 21-by-17 inches. Like the main display the outer frame is largely problem free save only for four appropriately placed holes at four corners that apparently had been used to attach it to a wall.
