1913 New York Giants team photograph by George Grantham Bain. Crisp sepia tone 5" by 7" image of the NL Champion Giants posed in uniform seated and standing on the field at the Polo Grounds. Among those pictured are Mathewson Thorpe McGraw Merkle Marquard and Groh. Image retains nearly flawless contrast with Bain's embossed stamp visible in the lower left corner. Subtle condition faults include light creases across the bottom two corners modest corner wear and two small border tears. Reverse shows multiple Culver Studios stamps including Culver "Deaccessioned" stamp over a modern inventory label. Important early Bain photo in VG-EX condition overall.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
