The sneakers that kicked off a revolution. This original pair of 1985 Nike Air Jordan 1 High ‘Chicago’ shoes is a must-have for any serious collector. The uppers have the classic Chicago Bulls themed red/white/black colorway design with the famous Swoosh logo. “Nike Air” tags are sewn on the tongues, with the iconic “Air Jordan Wings” logo stamped in black on the outer ankles. The size and serial coding on the interior, "9½ 850810 TY1” remains bold and perfectly legible in white, highlighting the well-preserved quality of this pair.
Our consignor says these shoes were never worn. With no creasing on the canvas uppers, no heel drag and no fading of the red Nike Air logo on the insoles (usually worn out from sock sweating), we agree with this assessment. There is some minor scuffing on the white toes of the right shoe as well as slight chipping of the black paint on both upper ankles, but this wear appears to be from age and storage. The original black laces are intact as well. Overall, these OG Air Jordan 1’s come in fantastic condition compared to most, but we do not recommend wearing them if 9.5 is your size. These are true collector’s items that will only grow in value. Preserve them!
