1) January 1783 State of Connecticut controller's office draft signed by Oliver Wolcott. Wolcott as a representative from Connecticut was one of the signor's of the Declaration of Independence as well as the Articles of Confederation. He also served as Governor of Connecticut. He died in 1797. Very strong perfect looking 9-10/10 vintage black ink signature. Draft measure about 6 1/4" by 5 1/8".

2) Thomas Mifflin served as a major general in the Continental Army as well as the 1st and 3rd Quartermaster General under George Washington during the American Revolution. As a politician Mifflin served as a member of the Pennsylvania Provincial Assembly. A Continental Congressman from Pennsylvania he was chosen as President of the Continental Congress and made a delegate to the Constitutional Convention of 1787. He later served as the Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives President of the Pennsylvania Supreme Executive Council and the first Governor of Pennsylvania. A truly founding father of this country. Approximately 3" by 1" cut features a strong 8/10 looking vintage black ink signature which has been matted with a 3" by 5" image of Mifflin. Piece has been matted to a size of 8" by 10" and is ready to put in a frame.
