Offered here is a pair of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s game-worn and dual-autographed pink Breast Cancer Awareness cleats from the 2009 season. He laced these up during the month of October – either Oct. 4 vs. San Diego, Oct. 11 at Detroit (Getty 91863093) or both games, according to photo evidence. The cleats come with NFL and PSA/DNA certification; however, a specific game was not identified. Big Ben was an uber-efficient 49-63 passing for 610 yards and 5 TD’s combined in the two Steeler victories. He threw for over 4,000 yards for the first time in his career that season, a feat he has since accomplished three more times on his way to the elite 50K Club.
The pink and white Nike Air Zoom ‘Superbad’ cleats come in size 14 and show excellent evident of game use inside and out. Chunks of grass and mud are stuck to the bottoms. Ben has signed the outer foot region of each in 7-8/10 black marker with No. “7” inscribed. His jersey number is also marked in black on the inner sides. The interior tagging reads “SEASON SU08” (common to carry these over the following season) and “PROMO SAMPLE” confirming that they were player-issued. Original pink laces are intact.
