O.J. Simpson perhaps the most polarizing figure in sports if not America’s history secured this California driver’s license in between court appearances for two completely different charges. It was issued to “ORENTHAL JAMES SIMPSON” on Feb. 22 2000 after the double-murder trial of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman in which Simpson was found “not guilty” in 1995 and before the botched memorabilia heist in which Simpson was found guilty of armed robbery and kidnapping charges in 2008. Simpson was just released from prison in Nevada and is back on the loose.
The Class C driver’s license was consigned by one of Simpson’s former bodyguards named Gerald.Measuring three-and-five-sixteenths inches wide by two-and-one-eighth-inches high the license is in pristine condition. Simpson’s address on the license reads: “410 Barrington St. Apt. 401 Brentwood CA 90049.” The license includes all of Simpson’s vital signs: SEX: M HAIR: BLK EYES: BRN HT: 6-02 WT: 225 DOB: 07-09-47.” The expiration date of the license reads “07-09-04.”
Our consignor acquired this Simpson's drivers license from O.J.'s former bodyguard Gerald who ispictured with O.J. in the attached photos.
