O.J. Simpson’s historic college football career at USC included the 1968 season in which he rushed for 1709 yards and 22 touchdowns winning the Heisman Trophy outright by the largest margin of voting percentage ever. Gene Locklear played MLB baseball for the Reds Padres and Yankees for over 10 years total. Being multi-talented few artists can paint sports with the authenticity let alone the soulful style of Gene Locklear. This original oil on canvas (24”X36”) painting of O.J. Simpson by Gene Locklear is a must have for any USC or sports art collector. Simpson signed the painting and inscribed it “Fight on USC” in bold silver sharpie. The painting has also been signed by Locklear in red marker on the bottom left. Both signatures and inscription rate a perfect “10” for eye appeal. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
